Further Admissions Information

Please expand any of the sections below for additional information about our admissions processes:

The decision to offer a place to a prospective student will be made by the individual Head of School to which the student has applied. The Head of School will be supported by the Head of College, the Director of Admissions & Marketing and the Admissions Manager.

Admission is based on the evaluation of academic assessments, which take place once a completed application has been submitted. The Admissions Committee also looks at English proficiency, past school records and teacher recommendations, as well as any diagnostic testing to help the understand any special learning needs an applicant may have. Interviews may be conducted with applicants in any year group.

If we do not offer an applicant a place at the College, this will be due to the fact that the student has shown through the College assessment process that they are unable to meet our entry requirements and/or that the College is not the right learning environment for them. Students are permitted to re-sit the assessment 6 to 12 months after initial assessment, at the discretion of the Head of School and/or Head of Admissions. The College is not under any obligation to release the results of the assessment tests. Should the candidate wish to withdraw rather than reassess, they will not be entitled to a refund of the application fee.

If the applicant wishes to defer their place at Dulwich College Bangkok after an offer of a place has been made, the College will permit one deferral for one academic year. The applicant’s place at the College for the new academic year is not guaranteed and will be subject to reassessment and availability. If the applicant declines the offer of a place, they will not be entitled to a refund of the application fee.

All students must hold a valid visa or immigration status prior to their first day of school. As an international school operating in Bangkok, Dulwich College Bangkok is required to ensure that all students have appropriate legal status to study in Thailand.

Accepted visa or immigration statuses include:

  • Dependent Visa (Non-O)
  • Student Visa (Non-ED)
  • Long-term Visa (ie. Thai Elite)

The College will support Student Visa documentation for enrolled students and one Guardian Visa per enrolled student.
