The Pioneer Scholarships celebrate excellence, character and contribution to the life and success of our school.
They are designed to attract and support students entering Year 6 and Year 7 who demonstrate outstanding potential in the areas of Academics, Performing and Creative Arts (Music, Art, Dance, Drama) and Sport.

Scholarship Structure

Type of Scholarship
ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIPS
The Academic Scholarship Programme aims to recognise and nurture exceptional academic potential in students entering Year 6 or Year 7. Scholarships are awarded to students who demonstrate outstanding cognitive ability, academic achievement and a commitment to learning.
PERFORMING AND CREATIVE ARTS SCHOLARSHIPS
The Performing and Creative Arts Scholarship Programme recognise and nurture exceptional artistic potential in Music, Dance, Drama and Art among students entering Year 6 or Year 7. Scholarships are awarded to students who demonstrate outstanding ability and potential, as well as a commitment to learning in at least two of these areas. We would expect all candidates to offer a prime and secondary area.
SPORTS SCHOLARSHIPS
The Sports Scholarship Programme aims to recognise and nurture exceptional academic potential in students entering Year 6 or Year 7. Scholarships are awarded to students who demonstrate outstanding sporting ability in one or more areas of the sports played within the School and who show commitment to personal development and team contributions.
THAI SCHOLARSHIPS
The Thai Language Scholarship Programme aims to recognise and nurture exceptional ability and potential in Thai language proficiency among students entering Year 6 or Year 7. Scholarships are awarded to students who demonstrate outstanding skills in reading, writing and speaking Thai, alongside a commitment to cultural understanding and academic excellence.

- Decisions shared with families Friday 13 March 2026
Application Process
All applicants must submit:
- Completed application form
- Personal statement (600-800 words)
- School reports from the last 2 years
- Two references
- Area-specific evidence (e.g., portfolio for Arts, sports CV for Sport)

Frequently Asked Questions
Pioneer Scholarships are valued at 25% of tuition fees for three years, subject to annual review. Variations may be made at the College's discretion.
The scholarship covers tuition fees only. Other costs such as uniform, trips, and certain co-curricular activities may still apply.
For 2026 entry, we are accepting applications for both Year 6 and Year 7 students. From 2027 onwards, scholarships will be offered from Year 7 entry only.
All scholarships follow a three-stage assessment process:
Stage 1: Review of application, reports and references
Stage 2: Area-specific assessment (academic testing, auditions, practical assessments, etc.)
Stage 3: Interview with senior academic staff
Applications open on Friday 23 January 2026 and must be submitted by Friday 13 February 2026.
