How to Apply

Thank you for your interest in Dulwich College Bangkok. We understand that choosing a school for your child is one of the most important decisions you can make as a family, and our Admissions team is here to help guide you through the process. 

We aim to ensure your admissions journey is a positive experience. Please find the steps involved below: 

STEP 1: Start your admissions journey 

You are invited to start your admissions journey in one of the following ways: 

Submit an enquiry. We will contact you to talk you through the next steps and/or arrange an individual session if you are unable to attend one of our events. 

Register for an event. The College will have events leading up to the opening of the school. Please take a look at our events page to select an event that is most suited to you. 

STEP 2: Make an Application 

Once you are sure that Dulwich College Bangkok is the right fit for your family, you can submit your formal application via our Admissions Portal. 

Once the application process has begun, the Admissions team will reach out to support you in the completion of your application. At this stage, we will request the contact details for the relevant member of staff at your child/ren’s current school in order to request a reference. 

STEP 3: Assessment 

Once your application is complete, all applicants will be invited to visit Dulwich College Bangkok for an assessment. For overseas applicants, alternative assessment arrangements can be agreed with our Admissions team on a case-by-case basis. 

The process will take around 45-minutes including an observation as well as a family interview. Where possible, assessments will be conducted in small group sessions to allow the children to play and socially interact whilst being observed.

STEP 4: Assessment Outcome

Following the assessment, your application will be reviewed by the Admissions Committee, and the outcome will be shared within 7-10 working days.  

Please note: An application is considered completed when the application fee has been paid, all required documentation has been uploaded, and your child has been assessed. Whilst the College will endeavour to provide an application outcome to all applications completed within the timeframe provided, the College reserves the right to withhold an outcome until any additional criteria have been satisfied. 

Admissions Process FAQ 

Yes. We highly recommend submitting your application as early as possible. Applications are considered by order of the date of application and early applications will allow us to ensure that your child(ren) have the highest possible opportunity to complete an assessment with us.  

Following the assessment, your application will be reviewed by the Admissions Committee, and the outcome will be shared within 7 working days. 

Please note that the College may withhold an outcome if it is deemed that further information is required. 

We seek to admit students who will thrive in all areas of College life. In addition to meeting our academic selection criteria according to year group of entry, we also look for the following:  

A student’s ability to demonstrate their enthusiasm to contribute to the Dulwich community, including full involvement in the academic and co-curricular opportunities available to them.  

An applicant must speak and understand English sufficiently to be able to access the curriculum.  

All students enrolled at Dulwich College Bangkok must be residing full-time with a parent or legal guardian.
